About our Driving School

Since being established in 1980, ADR School of Motoring has been teaching the skills required for safe & confident driving, with a consistently high pass rate.

As a family business, the ethos is focused on serving the local community, with the pupils at its heart, taking personal pride in providing the best possible service at all times and ensuring excellent value for money.

Our driving instructor is not only fully qualified, but also highly graded, achieving the Grade A status in regular assessments by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency. You get an experienced instructor who wants to share their knowledge with you, being friendly and patient, and able to put even the most nervous of pupils at ease.

Whilst embracing the flexibility of an independent driving school, ADR School of Motoring still provides professional up-to-date driving tuition following the full DVSA syllabus, but the instructor will always tailor the courses and lessons to the individual needs of each pupil. The assessment process continues on an ongoing basis throughout your time with us to build confidence and ensure readiness for the practical test when the big day comes. And we’re as happy as you are when you pass your test, hopefully at the first attempt like most of our pupils and maybe even without any faults at all on your test report!

Focus on Value

Finding the cheapest driving instructor or trying to take your test after too few lessons is likely to cost more in the long run. A higher standard driving instructor may cost more per lesson, but needing to take less lessons and saving on repeat test fees will not only cost you less, but you’ll feel more confident when you’re out on the road unsupervised after you’ve passed, and you could also be proud of yourself for passing at your first attempt.

We value our honesty in ensuring that you don’t have more lessons than you need and that you don’t waste money on practical test fees if you’re not ready to pass.
